Kristen Cotton joined the ABC lab as a clinical science doctoral student in 2023. Prior to the ABC lab, she received her MA from the University of Chicago and was a research coordinator at the Center for Reproductive Mental Health at Johns Hopkins. Her research focuses on the neural, behavioral, and physiological underpinnings of emotion regulation in adversity-exposed adolescents and the protective impact of parenting from a systems-level perspective.
