Lindsay Zajac, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist and Managing Director of ABC Parenting Institute. Dr. Zajac received her doctoral and master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Delaware (UD), and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bucknell University. She completed her clinical internship training at Nemours Children’s Health and was the inaugural perinatal mental health and early childhood postdoctoral fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During her time at UD, Dr. Zajac managed a large longitudinal follow-up study assessing the efficacy of ABC on key middle childhood outcomes among a sample of Child Protective Services (CPS)-referred children. She was also selected for a Doris Duke Fellowship and implemented ABC as a parent coach. Dr. Zajac’s broad research interests concern the prevention of child maltreatment and the effects of early adversity, attachment, and caregiving experiences on child development. Due to her clinical experiences, Dr. Zajac is also very interested in the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions, trauma informed care, and perinatal mental health. In her current role at ABC Parenting Institute, Dr. Zajac oversees ABC implementation in the state of Delaware.
