Terrique is a project coordinator for the Attachment Behavior lab and he recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May of 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Sciences. As an undergrad at UNC, he worked in the Peer Relations lab under Dr. Mitch Prinstein and the Center of Women’s Mood Disorders under Dr. Susan Girdler studying anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideations in teens. He also worked in the Anxiety and Stress lab under Dr. Jon Abramowitz studying postpartum depression and OCD. All of his past lab experiences helped form his interest for insecure parent-child relationship dynamics and its contributions to the development of psychological disorders during adolescence and later in life.
